Before setting up, make sure that the broker has connected you to trading through the Transaq Connector and provided you with a username and password. The username and password from the Transaq terminal cannot be used.
Follow the steps below to set up a connection:
1. Launch Tiger.Trade and select File → Connections → Configure from the main menu.
2. In the window that opens, click “+” Create new connection and select Transaq in the list that appears.
3. In the window that opens, select Server from the list, enter your Username and Password.
4. If you have received a login and password to connect via Transaq Connector for the first time, then you need to change it, otherwise trading will not be available.
To change the password, right-click on the created Transaq Connector connection, and then Change password.
The password can be changed from temporary to permanent when you are actively connected to the Transaq server (to the broker's trading server). In the broker's personal account, you can only reset the temporary password to the same temporary one.
5. Click OK.
The connection has now been set up. To establish a connection, select File → Connections → Transaq in the main Tiger.Trade menu.
To get the Transaq Connector library log files, do the following:
In the main menu select File → Connections → Configure.
In the window that opens, right-click on the name of the connection.
In the menu that opens, select the Open logs item.
Log files are required by your broker's employees in order to analyze problems that arise.
